Howard L. Frey, MD, FACS
Dr. Frey graduated magna cum laude in Biology from Harvard College. He earned his MD degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD, in 1977. He remained at Johns Hopkins for his surgical residency and completed his urology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Frey has extensive experience in microvascular and microsurgical techniques. He has been selected by the Castle-Connolly Guide in both 1998 and 1999 as one of the "Best Doctors- New York Metro Area." He has also been featured in Consumer's Checkbook "Top Doctors."
Dr. Frey is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
He is Director of the Department of Urology at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ, and he is the Chairman of the Urology Tumor Board there. He has numerous publications and presentations of urological importance to his credit.

Richard David Baum, MD, FACS
Dr. Baum graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1977. He earned his MD degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA. He pursued post-graduate training as a surgical intern and resident at New York University Medical center, where he also served as a resident in urology.
Dr. Baum is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
He has been Chief Resident in Urology at Cabrini Medical center, Manhattan Veteran's Administration Hospital, and New York University Hospital, all in New York City. He is currently the Associate Director of the Department of Urology at Valley Hospital.

Timothy J. Mackey, MD
Dr. Mackey earned BA degrees in both chemistry and economics and his MD degree from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar and winner of the prestigious William Hill, Jr Scholarship. He completed his residencies in surgery and in urology at the University of Maryland, where he served as Chief Resident in Urology for the University Hospital, the Baltimore Veterans' Administration Hospital, and Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Mackey is an accomplished research physician in addition to his active practice. He has several publications and presentations to his credit.

Wayne deTorres, MD
Dr. de Torres received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from Rutgers University. After working in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry, he earned is MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed internship training in general surgery at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland before serving honorably for three years as a Medical Officer with the Atlantic Fleet in the U.S. Navy. Following military service, he completed residency training in surgery and urology at The University of North Carolina. Working in urology practice since 1996, he has active interests in the areas of minimally-invasive surgery, oncology, stone disease, voiding dysfunction, infertility, and prostate diseases.
Dr. de Torres is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of several professional medical organizations and holds various leadership positions in the local medical community.

Victor H. Hartanto, MD
Dr. Hartanto graduated summa cum laude in biomedical engineering at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned his MD degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He then completed his residency in urology at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and his fellowship training in Female Urology and Voiding Dysfuntion at New York University in New York City. He is a board certified urologist.
In addition to practicing general urology, Dr. Hartanto has special interest in:
- Management of all types of urinary incontinence for male and female.
- Management of vaginal prolapse.
- Urologic evaluation and treatment of urinary problems related to neurologic conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Stroke, Spinal Cord Injury, and Diabetes Mellitus.
- State-of-the-art Urodynamic testing for bladder dysfunction evaluation.
Dr. Hartanto has many urological publications and presentations to his credit.

Saurabh Agarwal, M.D.
Dr. Agarwal graduated summa cum laude from Boston University. He earned his MD degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1999. He was elected a member of the prestigious honor society Alpha Omega Alpha in 1998. He completed his general surgery and urology residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Agarwal has expertise in laparoscopic and robotic surgery to treat conditions of the kidney, bladder and prostate. He has extensive experience with Da Vinci robotic surgery and has monitored other physicians on the use of the device.
Dr. Agarwal also offers minimally invasive options for the treatment of BPH including Holmium and Green Light laser prostatectomy. Dr. Agarwal also offers the non-scalpel vasectomy procedure with rapid recovery and no sutures.
Dr. Agarwal is certified by the American Board of Urology and is happy to accept new patients into his practice.
