Howard L. Frey, MD, FACS
Board Certified Urologist
Dr. Frey graduated magna cum laude in Biology from Harvard College. He earned his MD degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD in 1977. He remained at Johns Hopkins for his surgical residency and completed his urology residency at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Frey is Director of the Multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology Center and Chairman of the Urology Tumor Board at the Valley Hospital. He has been a featured doctor in New York Magazine’s “Top Doctors” for over ten years. He is a past Director of the Department of Urology at The Valley Hospital.
Dr. Frey is certified and re-certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Frey has an active interest in urologic oncology. He is Director of the Multidisciplinary Urologic Oncology Center at The Valley Hospital. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai since 2017.
