Richard David Baum, MD, FACS
Board Certified Urologist
Dr. Baum graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1977. He earned his MD degree from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, LA. He pursued post-graduate training as a surgical intern and resident at New York University Medical center, where he also served as a resident in urology.
Dr. Baum is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
He has been Chief Resident in Urology at Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan Veteran’s Administration Hospital and New York University Hospital, all in New York City. He has served as the Associate Director of the Department of Urology at The Valley Hospital.
Dr. Baum was one of four recipients of The Medical Society of New Jersey’s Biennial Quality Recognition Award, presented on June 14, 2015 at the MSNJ Board of Trustee meeting. This award is given to recognize commitment to quality, continuous improvement, leadership and patient satisfaction in the health care community.
